Our Story

Ink Revive began with a love for print culture: rich color blocks, bold type, and the quiet charm of paper. We source from open collections and reputable archives—often already digitized by institutions—and reimagine those public-domain finds as contemporary wall art and lifestyle goods. Alongside that, we originate entirely new works inspired by the same research path.

We’re a small, design-led studio working globally with on-demand production partners. That means less waste, local fulfillment where possible, and museum-quality results delivered to your door.

What We Do

  • Source: public-domain posters, prints, maps, labels, and more.

  • Curate: edit, sequence, and frame narratives into collections.

  • Reimagine: new compositions, colorways, and typographic treatments.

  • Originate: brand-new, from-scratch artworks—beyond vintage adaptations.

  • Produce: print-on-demand on archival papers with pigment inks, plus frames, apparel, and goods when a design belongs beyond the wall.

Most final artworks are generated with AI under human direction, then revised and finished by our designers. We only make what you buy. After purchase, your print is produced and shipped from a regional facility (US/EU/UK/AU/JP where available) to reduce transit time and emissions.

Ethics & IP

We work primarily with public-domain sources and original studio designs. When a work isn’t public domain, we secure rights before use. We don’t claim ownership of the public-domain originals; our reimagined and original compositions carry new studio authorship. Your purchase is for personal display. Studio Notes on AI

We use AI—for generation, texture work, inpainting, and exploration—but it’s a tool, like a modern paintbrush, not the author. Originality and inspiration are human factors, and human judgment shapes every piece. We never use your personal data or images to train models.

我們熱愛經典印刷的氣質：飽和色塊、奔放字體與紙張質地。素材多來自公開典藏與可信收藏（多數已由機構完成數位化），我們將其再詮釋為當代牆面藝術與生活選品；同時也原創全新作品，靈感來自同一條研究與探索的路徑。

我們是設計主導的小型工作室，與全球按單生產夥伴合作；盡量就近製作、減少浪費，把美術館等級品質送到你手上。

我們在做什麼

  • 蒐集：公有領域海報、版畫、地圖、標籤等。

  • 策展：選件、編排與敘事，形成系列與主題。

  • 再詮釋：全新構圖、配色與字體處理。

  • 原創：從零開始的全新作品，不只侷限於復刻。

  • 製作：按單印製美術紙與顏料微噴、框材；適合時延伸至服飾與生活商品。

作品如何誕生

蒐集 → 重組／原創（AI 協作、人為主導）→ 人工修訂 → 打樣 → 接單印製
多數最終圖像由 AI 生成並在設計師指導下完成，之後再由人工作最後修訂與定稿。我們只為下單的作品生產；下單後由就近節點（美／歐／英／澳／日等地視供應而定）出貨，縮短運輸並降低排放。

倫理與版權

以公有領域素材與工作室原創為主；若非公有領域，將先取得授權。我們不主張對公有領域原件的所有權；經再詮釋與原創之作品，具新的工作室著作性。你購買的是個人展示之商品；如需商業再製／授權，請來信 hello@inkrevive.com。
